Lily Alone – book review

Assalamu alaikum to all readers!

As you do not know, I love reading books. I love reading fiction and stories of the prophets and other books too. But there is one which I bought recently. It is ‘Lily Alone’ (Fiction) by Jacqueline Wilson.

It is a very exciting and adventurous story about an eleven year-old girl called Lily. Who is left alone with her siblings, Baxter, Bliss and Pixie.

Lily doesn’t let any of them go to school because they might giveaway their secret. So they are all stuck at home, bored and hungry. So what could go wrong if they go camping in the park? They all sleep in a big hollow tree and go looking for food everyday. Lily and her siblings can’t and don’t talk to anyone. They have to stay safe and hidden until their mum comes back…

My favorite character in this book has to be Bliss. Because she is the most sweet, gentle and caring sister. My favorite part of this book is when Lily plays schools with them, I enjoyed the second half more than the first half of the book.

I think it is a great book for kids aged 11-15 approx.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
